About This Soundtrack
The 2005 comedy classic Wedding Crashers, directed by David Dobkin, features the beloved duo of John Beckwith (Owen Wilson) and Jeremy Grey (Vince Vaughn) as two divorce mediators who crash weddings to meet women. Their carefree lifestyle is turned upside down when they attend the Cleary wedding. John falls for Claire Cleary (Rachel McAdams), the daughter of the Treasury Secretary (Christopher Walken), leading them into an eccentric weekend at the family's coastal estate. The film features standout performances by Vince Vaughn, Owen Wilson, Rachel McAdams, Isla Fisher, and Bradley Cooper.
The soundtrack of Wedding Crashers is a fantastic mix of high-energy wedding classics and emotive indie pop. Tracks like 'Shout' by The Isley Brothers and 'Hava Nagila' by Klezmer Juice capture the fun and chaos of the wedding receptions, while Coldplay's melancholic 'Sparks' and Faces' rock classic 'Stay With Me' punctuate the emotional arcs. The film's musical atmosphere is completed by Rolfe Kent's original instrumental score, which balances the film's comedic timing with a romantic orchestral charm.
