Owen Cunningham Wilson was born on November 18, 1968, in Dallas, Texas. He is an American actor, comedian, producer, and screenwriter. He has had a long and fruitful association with filmmaker Wes Anderson, with whom he shared writing and acting credits for Bottle Rocket (1996), Rushmore (1998), and The Royal Tenenbaums (2001), the last of which earned him a nomination for the Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay. He is widely recognized for his prominent roles in comedy blockbusters as part of the 'Frat Pack', starring in films such as Zoolander (2001), Shanghai Noon (2000), Wedding Crashers (2005), and the Night at the Museum franchise.

Wilson has also delivered acclaimed performances in romantic comedies and dramas, most notably Woody Allen's Midnight in Paris (2011), which earned him a Golden Globe nomination, and Marley & Me (2008). He is the iconic voice of Lightning McQueen in Pixar's Cars franchise. On television, he starred as Mobius M. Mobius in the Marvel Cinematic Universe series Loki (2021–2023).
