About This Soundtrack
Scheduled to release in theaters globally on August 6, 2026, the high-concept romantic comedy One Night Only is directed and co-written by Will Gluck. The film stars Callum Turner and Monica Barbaro as two singles navigating a dystopian, alternate-reality New York where intimacy is legal for only one designated night a year, alongside supporting cameos by Maya Hawke, Julia Fox, and Molly Ringwald.
The soundtrack for One Night Only features an original score composed by the returning duo of Este Haim (of the indie band HAIM) and Christopher Stracey, who previously composed the music for Will Gluck's hit rom-com Anyone But You. Blending upbeat electronic synthesizers with acoustic melodies, the score mirrors the city's frantic energy. The licensed soundtrack is packed with hits from Robyn ('Dopamine'), HAIM ('Now I'm In It'), Wet Leg, Jungle, and Maroon 5.

About the Composer(s)
Este Haim and Christopher Stracey are a highly successful composing duo whose creative partnership brings a vibrant, modern indie-pop and electronic energy to contemporary romantic comedies.
Este Haim is an Oscar-shortlisted and Grammy-nominated musician, songwriter, and composer best known as the bassist and vocalist of the acclaimed indie rock band HAIM. She has expanded into film scoring, composing for Netflix's Maid (2021), Cha Cha Real Smooth (2022), and You Are So Not Invited to My Bat Mitzvah (2023).
Christopher Stracey is an accomplished Australian producer, songwriter, and composer based in Los Angeles, known as one-half of the electronic duo Bag Raiders.
Together, Haim and Stracey co-composed the infectious, guitar-pop-fueled score for Will Gluck's box office hit Anyone But You (2023). For Gluck's 2026 romantic comedy One Night Only, the duo reunited to score the film's chaotic, alternate-New York premise, blending upbeat electropop pulses, warm acoustic melodies, and contemporary R&B textures to track the characters' frantic search for love.

About the Movie
Set in a high-concept, alternate version of New York City where premarital intimacy has been declared illegal except for one wild, state-sanctioned night a year, Will Gluck's romantic comedy One Night Only follows newly single Owen (Callum Turner) and idealistic romantic Allie (Monica Barbaro). Amidst the city-wide frenzy, awkward hookups, and absurd societal pressures, Owen and Allie cross paths and decide to escape the madness together. What starts as a platonic quest for genuine human connection on the year's least romantic evening quickly sparks an unexpected, genuine romance.
Directed by Will Gluck (Anyone But You, Easy A), the film features an electric supporting cast including Maya Hawke, Julia Fox, Molly Ringwald, LeVar Burton, and King Princess. The soundtrack is a high-tempo blend of indie-pop, electronic beats, and classic sing-along anthems, featuring a lively original score by Este Haim and Christopher Stracey, paired with trailer hits from Robyn ('Dopamine') and HAIM ('Now I'm In It').
