About This Soundtrack
The 2020 romantic drama All My Life, directed by Marc Meyers and released by Universal Pictures, tells the touching, real-life love story of Jennifer Carter (Jessica Rothe) and Solomon Chau (Harry Shum Jr.). As they plan their future together, their plans are suddenly disrupted when Solomon is diagnosed with terminal liver cancer. Deciding to make every moment count, their friends and community rally to help them pull off their dream wedding in just a few weeks, celebrating their bond in the face of tragedy.
The film's audio selection plays a key role in balancing its emotional high points and quiet moments. The soundtrack features popular upbeat tracks like Niall Horan's "Black and White", Foals' "My Number", and Bastille's "Those Nights" to highlight the joy of their early relationship. At the same time, John Legend's "Conversations in the Dark" serves as a recurring theme for their deep affection, while Keala Settle performs moving renditions of classic songs.
In addition to the popular songs, composer Lisbeth Scott provides a delicate, acoustic-driven orchestral score. Her piano melodies and soft string orchestrations cushion the film's most difficult scenes, allowing the emotional weight of the story to shine. Our hand-verified guide details every song heard throughout All My Life, complete with artist credits, track durations, and direct links to official streaming platforms.
