About This Soundtrack
The second season of Netflix's animated dark fantasy series Devil May Cry (2026) elevates the franchise's signature gothic action to new heights. Showrun by Adi Shankar and animated by Studio Mir, this installment follows the legendary half-demon hunter Dante as he combats demonic hordes led by the demon king Mundus. The musical choices for these eight episodes are crucial in setting the high-octane energy of the battle sequences, blending classic early-2000s hard rock and nu-metal with cutting-edge electronic beats.
The show's music features a heavy-hitting combination of licensed tracks and an intense original score. Famous bands like Papa Roach, Evanescence, Korn, and Drowning Pool provide high-energy rock anthems, including the hit single See U in Hell, a collaboration between Papa Roach and Hanumankind. Meanwhile, the original instrumental compositions are crafted by the synthwave duo Power Glove and composer Casey Edwards, who famously created the iconic Capcom track Bury the Light. Their contribution brings a fierce metal-electronic fusion that intensifies every boss battle.
From the opening heavy rock riffs in the first episode to the grand orchestral and synthetic arrangements during the final showdown, the soundtrack acts as a powerful backing to Dante and Vergil's tragic family history. For fans of heavy rock, synthwave, and high-energy combat scores, the official release offers an unforgettable auditory experience. This comprehensive guide lists every song featured in the series, complete with episode breakdowns, scene descriptions, and links to major streaming platforms.
