About the Composer(s)

Karl Sölve Steven is an award-winning New Zealand/Swedish composer, producer, and musician. Born in Auckland, he rose to prominence as the frontman for the seminal New Zealand funk-rock band Supergroove. In addition to his music career, Steven holds a PhD in ancient philosophy from Trinity College, Cambridge. He is widely recognized for his screen scoring work, composing distinct, genre-bending soundtracks for film and television projects such as Bookworm, Uproar, Never Look Away, and Black Hands.
