About This Soundtrack
Premiering on Amazon Prime Video on May 27, 2026, the live-action superhero neo-noir series Spider-Noir stars Academy Award-winner Nicolas Cage as Ben Reilly, an aging, down-on-his-luck private investigator in 1930s New York City. Ben struggles with his past as the city's one and only superhero, the Spider. Co-developed by Oren Uziel and Steve Lightfoot in association with Sony Pictures Television, the series brings a gritty, noir-inspired aesthetic to the Marvel universe. It is notably released in both an authentic black-and-white version and a full-color edition.
The atmospheric musical score for Spider-Noir is composed by the acclaimed Kris Bowers (winner of the Academy Award for The Last Repair Shop and composer for Bridgerton and The Last of Us) in collaboration with composer-orchestrator Michael Dean Parsons. Together, they create a moody, orchestral soundscape combining classic 1930s jazz textures with dark, suspenseful superhero themes. The series also features the soulful opening theme song 'Saving Grace' performed by Kirby, setting a dramatic, emotional tone for Ben Reilly's journey.

About the Show
Set in the gritty, black-and-white streets of 1930s New York City, Spider-Noir follows Ben Reilly, an aging and down-on-his-luck private investigator played by Nicolas Cage. Years after a deeply personal tragedy forced him to abandon his role as "The Spider", the city's first and only superhero, Ben now spends his days chasing unfaithful husbands and drowning his sorrows in alcohol. His quiet, bitter life of obscurity is disrupted when he accepts what appears to be a standard missing persons case involving a man named Flint Marko.
As Ben dives deeper into the investigation, the simple case uncovers a massive, dark conspiracy tied to the ruthless mob boss Silvermane and a dangerous scheme involving secret experiments. Forced to confront his past and the hero he used to be, Ben must navigate a dangerous underworld filled with mobsters, monsters, and a mysterious femme fatale. To protect his city and stop the growing threat, the cynical detective has no choice but to put his mask back on and become the web-slinging vigilante once again.
