Adrian Johnston is an British composer and musician widely recognized for his extensive and versatile work in film, television, and theater. Born in 1961 in Cumbria, England, he initially pursued English literature at Edinburgh University before embedding himself in the music industry as a talented drummer for various bands, including The Waterboys. His foundational career took a unique turn during his twenties when he traveled internationally to provide live, single-instrument musical accompaniment for over 60 silent films at prestigious film festivals.
