Benson Boone

Benson Boone

β€œI want people to feel something when they listen to my musicβ€”to cry, to smile, to remember.”

Benson Ward Boone (born June 25, 2002) is an American singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist whose powerful vocals and emotionally raw pop ballads have quickly made him one of the breakout music stars of the 2020s. Growing up in Monroe, Washington, Boone did not discover his singing voice until his junior year of high school in 2019, when a friend asked him to play piano and sing in a school talent show. Soon after, he began posting singing videos and covers on TikTok, where his rich, soulful voice rapidly attracted a massive global following.

In early 2021, Boone auditioned for the nineteenth season of American Idol, receiving glowing reviews from the judges, but ultimately decided to withdraw from the competition to maintain control of his artistic direction. Shortly after, he was discovered by Dan Reynolds, the frontman of Imagine Dragons, who signed Boone to his label Night Street Records in partnership with Warner Records. Boone released his debut single, 'Ghost Town,' in October 2021, showcasing his impressive vocal range and songwriting talents. The track charted internationally and was certified gold or platinum in several countries, followed by his second hit single, 'In the Stars,' in 2022.

Boone achieved massive global stardom in early 2024 with the release of the smash-hit single 'Beautiful Things.' The emotional, folk-pop anthem became a viral sensation, peaking at number two on the Billboard Hot 100 and reaching number one in numerous countries including the UK, Canada, and Australia. In April 2024, Boone released his highly anticipated debut studio album, Fireworks & Rollerblades, which was met with critical acclaim and supported by a sold-out international tour. Armed with an operatic chest voice, soaring falsetto, and high-energy live acrobatics (often performing backflips on stage), Boone is cementing his place as a leading voice in modern pop music.
